Ski weekends, snowboarding weekends and short ski breaks have traditionally been very costly but thankfully times have changed. With the increase in the numbers and the efficiency of the low-cost airlines it is now both practical and affordable to grab a long ski weekend or indeed a few long ski weekends as well as, or instead of, your main ski holiday. We believe that there are a few very important facts to consider when deciding if a ski weekend is worthwhile or not and we do our best to make sure that we offer a great service at a fair and affordable price. Things to consider when choosing your break How easy is it to organise your ski weekends? How easy is the journey to your ski weekend resort? How good is the ski area? How close are you to the slopes? How much is your ski weekend lift pass? What sort of accommodation can you have? How flexible are your ski weekends options? How well is your time used? Is the ski weekend you have booked value for money? Our ski weekends are organised so that, within certain limits, you can choose when you arrive, when you leave and how long you wish to stay. We can help you make the organisation of your ski or snowboard weekends very simple. Your Journey could not be simpler. You can arrive from one of 11 UK airports plus Dublin and Brussels with one of the low cost airlines and be eligible for free transfers from Turin or Chambery. Turin is one hour from our accommodation in Sauze d'Oulx and 1 hour and 20 minutes from Montgenevre. The transfers from Chambery take about 30 minutes longer. Sauze d'Oulx and Montgenevre are parts of the famous Milky Way ski area which was host to the 2006 Winter Olympic Games. This ski area is one of the largest in Europe. There has been substantial investment in the whole of this ski area as a result of the 2006 Winter Olympic Games. All our accommodation is situated in the resorts themselves and not in some village, somewhere down the mountain where you need to catch a minibus or bus ride up to the slopes. Some of our units are virtually "ski in - ski out", the rest are just a couple of hundred metres from the slopes and all the other amenities, making them ideal for ski and snowboard weekends. The price of a ski pass for a long weekend is about £20 per day, which is less than the cost of an hour in the Snowdome. We realise that accommodation is important, even for a weekend break so we offer ski weekends in all of our accommodation units, which means that you can choose between Hotels, Chalets or Self Catering Apartments. Our ski and snowboard weekends are extremely flexible. You can arrive any day that you like from 12 different departure airports. To make it worth your while and to keep prices competitive we work on a minimum stay of 4 nights over the weekend and 3 nights midweek. However there are often gaps between other bookings and when these occur we can offer shorter stays at fantastic prices, so if you just want two or three nights contact us anyway. By far the most popular formula is long weekends (4 nights away = 4 full days on the slopes = 2 days off work). For example: you can leave Stansted at approx. 19.30
on Thursday or Friday evening and arrive at Turin at 22.20. There will be a
vehicle waiting for you to take you to resort (between an hour and an hour and a half
away). You can pre-book your lift pass and equipment hire so our resort staff will have everything ready and you will be on the slopes in no time at all. We understand that whatever you buy there is always a "cheaper option" and ski weekends are no exception. Certainly you could reduce the cost of your weekend by going for one of those "stay somewhere down the mountain out of resort" options, or booking your hotel directly and taking a bus or train to the resort. Some people even opt to travel to the Alps by coach, imagine that! With cheap flights and prices from as little as £130 self catering or £200 half board for a 4-night long weekend, including airport transfers and the help of our resort staff, our service is without doubt excellent value for money. These are just some of the reasons why our customers come back again and again. To find out more, enter our web site or contact us using the coordinates below.
